“If there is righteousness in the heart, there will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character, there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nations.
When there is order in the nations, there will be peace in the world.”
-Confucius

As a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist, I empower my patients and help them discover their innate potential for healing. This transforms the process of health into an evolving and dynamic state of awareness. Being trained in an integrative setting has allowed for the practice of effective patient care in a modern medical framework. The variety of natural and classical modalities that have stood the test of time serve as the cornerstone for all of my patient care. I provide an integrative and sustainable health care that can treat a variety of diseases, with areas of focus in:

About

I am a Naturopathic Physician and licensed acupuncturist. I earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Science of Oriental Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine. This was a concurrent six-year program which included three years of internship at the NUNM main clinic and community clinics throughout Portland.

My current emphasis is in functional medicine and regenerative medicine for chronic conditions that ranges from chronic pain conditions to autoimmunity. I completed a one-year mentorship in 5-Element acupuncture and biotherapeutic drainage. Extended rotations were also focused on Anthroposophic inspired herbal medicine. Six months were spent at an interdisciplinary clinic with counselors from Pacific University which focused on a variety of mental health conditions; along with treating under-served populations in downtown Portland.

I was born and raised in Miami, FL where the sunshine and ocean left a lifelong love for being immersed in nature. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University, where I placed emphasis in applied behavior analysis, and industrial and organizational psychology.
